The SONORA BLUES FESTIVAL
is held at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds, downtown in the Central Sierra Gold Rush town of Sonora. Sonora has recently been rated number three in David Vokac's book "The Great Towns of Northern California." He found Sonora to be an ideal place to live or vacation, only being beat by Napa and Nevada City.

Concerts on 3 Stages will be held "on the green", inside the air conditioned Sierra Building and on a workshop stage in the air conditioned Manzanita Building. The last set of the day will be a dance set and dancing will be allowed in front of the stage. The rest of the day dancing will not be allowed in front so that the view of the stage will not be blocked for those who wish to sit. Dancing is allowed to the side of the stage all day.
There will be lots of shaded areas available on concert field & Water Misting Units to keep fans cool!
