About the Festival

Concerts are on two stages, with the main stage outside "on the green" and the other stage inside the sierra building

Workshops will be held in the Manzanita building

Gates open at 10 a.m. and the music starts at 11 a.m.

Separate motorcycle parking is available

Misting units and a misting tent will be going all day

About the Area

The Sonora Blues Festival is located at
Sonora's
Mother Lode Fairgrounds near the
junction of Highways 49 and 108
on Stockton Street in downtown Sonora.

Sonora is just 1 1/2 hours from Yosemite National Park,
Pinecrest Lake is 45 minutes East of Sonora, Columbia State Park is only 3 miles from the festival and there are many other
lakes and recreation areas nearby.

for travel in The Mother Lode, Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada

What to Bring
  • Low back chairs - no more than 30" from ground to top of chair
  • Dancing shoes ( dancing area is to either side of the stage, not in front of the stage)
  • Spray bottle
  • Sunscreen
  • Ice chests ~ without alcohol or glass
  • Hat
  • Umbrellas are allowed, but only in the back and to the sides where they are not blocking any ones view

What not to Bring

  • No glass or alcohol (due to fund raising)
  • No pets
  • No bad attitudes

  • Oriental Classics
  • Spiros Gyros (Greek food)
  • Kettlecorn
  • Finer Grind Espresso, Iced Coffee Drinks,
    Iced Tea & Lemonade
  • Beer, wine, tequila, sodas and water sold by
    VNA/Hospice as a fund raiser


    There will be 2 separate beer tents this year!
NO Early Lineup Of Vehicles At Main Box Office - GATE A. Pedestrians May Line Up At GATE A. Gate C Will Be Open For Parking After 8:30am. You May Park In The Stable Area and Be Wristbanded At The Back Box Office Located There. Gates will open at 10 am.
Parking Is $2.00 Per Vehicle. Lots More Parking Available This Year!
Lawn Concert, Workshop & Sierra Stage Hours Start At 11 am.
Largest Restroom Is Located Near Motorcycle Parking Area

NO RVs THROUGH GATE A - there is no way of getting RV’s out during festival.
Please enter through Gate C. NO HOOKUPS until after the festival is over.
